Animation, Character Design, Computer Animation
Designed and directed by The Mill's Carl Addy, and finished for both on-air and print, 'Rhythm Jerk' shows five bespoke designed 'pop-up' toy characters dancing, collapsing and jerking to some amazing, specifically composed dance music.
It is MTV's World Design Studio Milan (WDSM) and The Mill's most significant collaboration to date. The fully CGI spot took several weeks to complete and involved the skills of a large visual effects team from across both The Mill's Great Marlborough Street and Clipstone Street offices in London.

- For a very brief week early last year, I had the pleasure of doing some previz models for the Mill's MTV Rhythm Jerk spot. Working with the art and design department, I put together these three images below, following the artist character designs (Carl Addy, Sam Meisels, Simon Landrein). The Banana Man, and Weather Dude were modelled and rendered my myself in C4D, but I had some ZBrush help from the extremely talented Rafael Zabala for Metal Dude. Most importantly check out the final spot below, created by Mill 3D dep. Enjoy the rhythm, Ol

Unleash Your Fingers: Next Generation is by agency Heaven and production company Unit 9 made for Samsung Mobile France.
To celebrate the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S III in France, Samsung has brought back JayFunk (and Joey Daniels) to create the majorly anticipated sequel to the 2011 YouTube hit "Unleash Your Fingers". This time we have new and impressive choreography from the finger dancing star as well as some surprises. Music was by Justice with the track 'Helix'.
Luke Colson, Head of Mill Studio explains the work "We were delighted to team up with Anrick and the UNIT 9 guys again and after our success together with the Converse Launch project, we knew that this was going to be something really worth throwing everything at.
"We had a lot to live up to after the first of the Samsung Unleash spots racked up several Millions of You Tube hits, and after two months of hard graft and late nights, we are all really excited with the results.
"After attending the shoot and then receiving the edit, we set about tracking every single frame of every shot while also turning our attention to the design of each of the guy's graphical 'power'. Once tracked, we began animating and comping each scene using After FX and Cinema 4D."
"We love the finished results, and think that this film will give the first a real run for its money!"Animation, Motion Graphics, Visual Effects2012 -

SLB (Schlumberger), @ The Mill:
Schlumberger was a massive project, a combined effort from many departments at the Mill. The Petrel ocean fly over was the most challenging, multiple displacement maps were used to create the large expanse of water in c4d. The 3D in Petrel, Techlog, Avocet was created by myself in Maxon c4d, enjoy!Animation, Computer Animation, Engineering2012 -

Hey, this is an old collection of architectural modelling/rendering projects of mine, created while freelancing in Jersey for a short time. The designs are mostly by Naish Waddington Architects in Jersey (with exception of a few), visualized by myself. Hope you like them, cheers OllieArchitecture2011 -
